The moment a qualifying call or text ends, NeighborStack can alert you by email and by text message with the lead summary and callback number — so you can call back in minutes, not tomorrow.
What you control
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Email alerts | On/off, and the address they go to. |
| Text alerts | On/off, and the number they go to. |
| Email threshold | Minimum lead score that triggers an email (default 6). |
| Text threshold | Minimum lead score that triggers a text (default 6). |
Tuning your thresholds
Common mistakes
- Both thresholds at 9 — you miss solid 6–7 leads entirely.
- Text threshold below your typical scores — every curiosity call buzzes you.
A setup that works well
- Email threshold around 5 — catch almost everything in your inbox.
- Text threshold around 8 — only hot leads buzz your phone.
- Nothing slips by, but your pocket stays quiet for tire-kickers.
Good to know
Text alerts depend on SMS being enabled for the platform. If your text alerts are not arriving yet, email alerts still work — check that the toggle is on and the threshold is not set higher than your leads are scoring.
Good to know
Alerts go to one email address and one phone number per account today. Many teams point them at a shared inbox or a group-forwarding number so everyone sees them.
